Warrendale residential home is situated on the outskirts of Broughton, 5 miles from Chester in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Warrendale Cottage Ltd directors are Mrs Marjorie Kirby and Miss Sarah Kirby who is also the Responsible Individual. Jolly Manoj is the Registered Manager. The Managers all hold NVQ Level 4/5 Registered Managers Award. The home has exceptionally friendly and caring staff. Warrendale is a progressive, modern thinking, family run organisation.
'We Care'
We believe in the principles that Warrendale should be a ‘Home from Home’ for all our residents’ personal needs. We provide residential, respite and day care for both males and females over the age of 65 years.We are monitored by, and strive continually to meet and surpass, the standards and regulations from Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) also monitored by Flintshire County Council.
The home has been established since 1997. In 2008 a large extension was completed with an extra 7 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, plus a large concert room, lift and hair salon.
Warrendale is set in lovely landscaped gardens with paved safe walking area all available to residents. There is a large Garden room (which are heated so can be used in the winter months too) which houses a dining table, coffee tables & chairs. This overlooks a large patio area which leads onto the lawn, vegetable beds, raised planters, green house and beautiful landscaped gardens. In 2026 we built a large 'Chicken hotel' which is home to the chickens that hatched in the home in 2025.
